Turn on the television and channel-surf for a few brief moments–it won’t take you long to stumble upon political coverage or analysis of Election 2008. Whether it be “Hannity and Colmes,” Chris Matthew’s “Hardball,” or “Larry King Live;” stations like CNN, MSNBC and the Fox News Channel are rife with political news and views.
Political news coverage has come under fire as of late by politicians and news organizations alike for bias coverage and partisanship, which brings forth the question, how are viewers affected by the players in the political news media?
